Thank you so much for checking out Aurora K-Life. We are honored and excited that you might become a part of this ministry. If you have a heart for Christ and kids, we would love to meet with you.
Kids today face more pressures and tough situations than ever before, I believe. Between the internet, TV, and the radio, kids are bombarded with all kinds of messages trying to influence them, and few of them are very good. Our desire is to use K-Life parents, and your help to provide kids with a different kind of influence. We want to challenge them to live their lives according to Scripture and to be culture shapers and world changers. We want to provide a loving, truth-filled, safe, and encouraging community in the midst of a difficult, confusing, and hurtful world.
Aurora K-Life is in its third year and we are looking to grow. We have opportunities for you to do just about anything. We know college is a busy, fun time and would love to give you as many opportunities to serve as we can.
Small group leader: A small group leader is for someone that would love to make K-Life their primary ministry outlet. We would love for you to be able to come to school lunches, sporting events, lead a weekly small group and attend club and weekly leader meetings. It is an amazing opportunity to disciple, encourage, and love on middle school or high school kids.
Volunteer: Maybe you don't have quite as much time to give but would still love to be involved with K-Life. We would be thrilled to spend any amount of time with you! You might be asking yourself, "What can I do?" Well, just about anything you want. Do you like to sing, play an instrument, set up/tear down club, pray for our ministry, act in a skit, create a video, help with administration?? We can use you!
Will you prayerfully consider joining the Aurora K-Life team? The youth of Aurora need a Godly example in their lives and you could be the tool that God uses to bring about a revolution in the city of Aurora.
Will join us in challenging the youth of today to both hear the words of Christ and to put them into practice?
